DIY: Phone Case :

Since posting a picture of my phone case on Instagram and suggesting a blog post lots of you were interested. This phone case is very affordable and you only need to invest in a couple of pounds. It's completely re-designable and you can use any images you wish. But please do bear in mind that if you decide to use images off of sites such as Tumblr and Weheartit etcetera like myself, you cannot sale any of the products you make because you do not own rights to these pictures!

Step #1 :

~ The first step in creating this case is to purchase a clear transparent, hard back case. Yes, you could use this on its own but I think this DIY makes it even more fun and personal. The perfect place to get these is of coarse ebay. The prices are going to vary depending on what one you choose to buy but mine was only 1-2 pounds.

Step #2 :

~ Once your case has been delivered, this is when your creativity steps in! Using any site, (in my case I used paint on a windows laptop) start collecting images you want on your case using google images. To get images like mine I typed in tumblr before of after the name of what you are looking for. For Example : tumblr food.

Step #3 :

~ When you have all the images you want, start making it into a collage. Please note you don't have to do a collage but in my opinion it looks better and when it comes to the final outcome your images won't be as blurred and pixelated. I don't have an approximate size for you to base the size of your image/collage on because i used paint. But before you do it for real, print it out on regular A4 paper before hand. I just estimated and worked through that but I warn you it is trial and error. It also matters if you want your images to cover the sides of your phone as well. I chose not to but you will have to take that into consideration when working on the size.

Step #4:

~ Now that you have got the appropriate size for your device, your going to insert photograph paper into your printer. The reason I used photograph paper is because it makes your images so so SO much brighter and because it's slightly thicker it's less likely to become damaged quickly. However if your not able to get your hands on some photograph paper, regular paper is fine.

Step #5 :

~ Carefully cut out your image and place it inside your case, if you have a camera on the back of your phone the image you printed out is likely to be covering that up. So while your phone is still in the case, take a pencil and lightly circle on the image where the camera is. When it comes to cutting the space out you may need some assistance because it is quite tricking trying to make it neat when the area you need to cut is so small. This also applies if you have volume buttons at the side and your image goes all the way around your phone.

~ That's it, your phone case is finished! I really hope you liked this as it is my first DIY on my blog and am really happy with the outcome. If you do do this DIY I would LOVE to see what you came up with so please remember to show me on Instagram etc ~ BYEEE X

Everyday Makeup Look :

Hello everyone today's post is my everyday makeup look💖:
The days when I'm at home and I'm not doing anything in particular I take this opportunity to wear no makeup what so ever. I do this beccuase I feel more comfortable and don't have to worry about re-applying it. Also if no one is going to see it (aside from my family) then there's no point because I know my family isn't going to really be bothered either way.
But when I am going out, whether it be with my friends or going for a meal, I do like to put some effort into looking my best. An everyday makeup look for me isn't a complete full coverage look. This is mainly because I don't use foundation unless I feel my skin is really really poor but the main reason is I don't like the texture of foundation and how heavy it feels on my face compared to concealer. Concealer for me is light and doesn't cover the whole face, just places that I feel need covering.
-- So first off, I would apply my concealer and the concealer I have been using and loving is the wake me up concealer in the shade ivory ( it's rubbed off so not too certain on the shade ) i apply this under my eyes, around the edges of my nose and of coarse on any blemishes or spots I have that day.
-- Next I use a powder brush and powder my face with the Rimmel London stay matte powder. Did I say powder enough in that sentence? This will just make the look more matte and less cakey and oily.
-- Once the concealer and powder have been applied I will then move onto eyes. I really love using mascara and eyeliner because I think that it just makes you look more awake and bright. The mascara I have been using is just a collection 2000 super size mascara that I received from a friend. It's really nice and doesn't leave clumps which for me is great because I like my eyes to look more long and separated. As for eyeliner I use one from a old makeup set I got last year. It's not actually in the picture above because like foundation, I only use it on a rare occasion.
-- Last but not least is my lips. For my lips I like to apply a lip balm before applying any lipstick and the one I use is the Baby Lips in Hydrate. After leaving this to mouisturise my lips I would then apply a lipstick. As an example I have a MUA and a Baby Lips electro. Because I have been really loving the electro series I have just been using these instead of a lipstick because your garenteed hydration throughout the day as well as a lovely colour.

This is my complete everyday makeup! I don't use a lot of makeup but for people who want to start using makeup I think this is a great look because you only using a small amount of products. Also if your trying to decrease the amount of makeup you wear on a day to day basis the look above is a great way to still feel confident in public but only using a few products.

July favourites <3 :

Because summer defiantly began to show itself during June and July the temperature has certainly increased. Summer is personally my favourite season, I love being able to go outside and experiance the nature. However when the temperature begins to get hotter it can effect your skin and your choice in clothes and makeup.

Let's begin...<3

So my first favourite is the clean and clear deep cleansing lotion.
The hot weather has defiantly effected the oiliness in my T zone on my face causing me to break out more then usual. So I went to super drug and searched for a cleanser and that's when I came upon this. My friend had already recommended this too me and I had seen an improvement in her skin therefore I gave it a go. After a week of using the product twice  a day ( in the morning and evening ) I started to notice a huge improvement in my skin. Before using the product I had redness on areas in my skin and a lot more spots but since using this it has reduced both of these issues. If you have sensitive skin and you suffer from oiliness like myself, I highly recommend this item.
Price: ranged from £2-3.00
Shop: super drug
Brand: clean and clear

The next item is the Baby lips electro.
I also came across this product from a friend after noticing the colour and brightness in her lips. In the UK they previously only sold the original babylips ( pink punch, hydrate etc..) however just lately they released the electro series. There isn't as big of a variety of colours to choose from but all the colours are gorgeous and pigmented. The colour I chose was ''strike a rose' which was the lighter out of the two pinks in the series. The colours are very summery and are all either a corally orange or pink ( except a purple ) I have been opting for these over my lipsticks which is surprising. Also they are the same price to the original baby lips
Shop: super drug
Price:£2.99
Series: electro

The last product from the drug store is the nail polish by BarryM Gelly.
I am in love with this colour, I have already mentioned it in my mini haul post so I won't talk about it too much but I have been adoring the pastel colours at the minute (especially mint green) and this colour is just the perfect mint green shade. For more information check my mini haul paragraph.
Shade: Greenberry
Brand : Barry m Gelly

The accessory I have been reaching for in July was a flower crown.
Summer is without a doubt the most appropriate season to wear something like a flowercrown. They're so easy to style and my favourite thing about them is they make your whole look 10 times better. If your having a bad hair day or you simply want to make it look like you have made an effort but you haven't, a flower crown is the ideal solution. Mine is from newlook and wasn't expensive at all but most places sell them.
Shop: newlook
Colours: multicoloured

Another accessorie is a scrunchie.
These are so old school and I would have never expected to be wearing one of these again when I past the age of 5-6 but I was so wrong! Scrunchies again make a boring look not so boring. Usually I would go for a standard pony tail but when you put a scrunchie in its a complete new look, I love them. The pair I picked up were from primark and they included a blue and white spotty one and a lace one. I use them both at least twice a week. If you want to update your look for the new school year coming around fast defiantly invest in a pair of Scrunchies.
Shop: primark
Price: £2-3.00

The next item is a body butter by NSPA.
Coconut is one of my all time favourite scents. All my shower gels I choose tend to 99% of the time be coconut. I got this set for Christmas and only started using it when my legs started to become dry and dehydrated. But this body butter is amazing. You put a suitable amount on the end of your finger tips and gently massage into your skin. I use this after the shower when my skin is still a little damp and it works a treat. You can feel the moisture in your skin all day and the scent doesn't fade either. It's not sticky but instead leaves your skin smooth and hydrated.

My last but not at all least favourite is my shorts.
These shorts are so so comfy. I would have never worn these last year but this year I went out of my comfort zone and went for this style of shorts. There light on your body which is  essential in the heat and are not at all tight or uncomfortable like some denim or fabric shorts can be. I have defiantly been reaching for these in my draw and the material is very silky and soft. They dry really quickly as well so if you were to have a water fight or do any water sport activities, you won't be sat in damp clothes for ages. This pair is from newlook and is a black and white aztec pattern.
